kept. is a free app that helps you keep track of the skincare, haircare, and body products you own, log your own skin/hair history, and get grounded advice before you buy something new. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we don't do with it.
We don't collect your location, contacts, browsing history outside the app, financial or payment information, or any biometric data.
Everything above exists to make the app work: identifying products from a photo, remembering your shelf and history so advice and recommendations are grounded in your actual record, and evaluating whether something new fits before you buy it. We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't build ad-targeting profiles.
Scan photos and the text you write (notes, chat messages, product checks) are sent to Anthropic (the maker of Claude, the AI model kept. uses) to be processed — that's how a photo becomes a product, and how a question gets answered. Your account and product data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider.
We do not sell your data, share it with data brokers, or use it for third-party advertising. Nobody sees your shelf or your notes except you and the processing described above.
You can delete individual products, notes, or your account's data at any time from within the app. If you'd like your account and all associated data deleted entirely, email us (below) and we'll take care of it.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
